As the largest Chinatown in Canada and third largest in North America, there is a lot to see and do. Walk through the colorful streets, visit the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, which offers a serene escape, and peek into shops full of traditional trinkets and treats. Stanley Park is like diving into a natural oasis right in the heart of the city, and is one of my favourite places to visit in Vancouver. Whether you and the kids are keen on biking, playing tennis or pitch & putt golf, hanging out for a picnic, or just keen to spot some wildlife along miles of stunning trails, Lost Lagoon and the seawall, Stanley Park has something for everyone. Don’t miss the totem poles—they’re a big hit for both their history and vivid artistry. It’s also home to the famous Vancouver Aquarium.

Deep Cove located in Vancouver’s North Shore, is a beautiful seaside village with art galleries, boutique stores and tasty bistros, and is a wonderful place for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking and swimming.
Greater Vancouver Zoo offers an excursion into the wild without leaving the city. It’s a perfect place for kids to see a variety of animals from around the world. There are also picnic areas, so you can make it a full day’s outing with minimal fuss.
